The Log Cabin Hotel is now under new management July 2009

The Log Cabin Hotel is a gorgeous traditional norwegian pine cabin set high in the picturesque hills of highland Perthshire Scotland. The hotel is set in secluded woodland where you can often spot local wildlife such as red squirrels, deers, pheasants, rabbits and buzzards from your own bedroom windows.

From our front bar you can enjoy stunning views down the glen and local countryside while eating some great food cooked using local ingredients such as vennison, sirloin steaks and even local honey. Our friendly staff will make sure you are well looked after and children are most welcome as we have a special kids menu and lots of toys in the play area to keep the young ones amused.

We offer bed & breakfast in doubles/ twin rooms and we also have great family rooms that have bunk beds in an adjacent little alcove making it alot of fun for the kids to have their own little room. Our large family room has 4 single beds in it and is suitable for hill walkers/backpackers or for groups travelling together. For the hill walkers/outdoor enthusiasts we offer a drying room facility and we are happy to make packed lunches for the next stage of your trip. All of our rooms have coffee and tea making facilities and en-suite bathrooms. (most of our rooms have flat screen Tv's and some have Ipod docking radio alarm clocks)

All bedrooms are en-suite with tea & coffee making facilities and are non-smoking. Please ask if you need anything else: cots, hairdryers, televisions etc may be available on request.

Some rooms have been adapted for disabled use. These have wider doors for assisted wheelchair access and grab rails in the bathroom (room 5) or shower room (rooms 9, 10 & 11).
